Help Spread The Word About Ovarian Cancer

February is Ovarian Cancer awareness month, and a chance for you to help raise awareness of the signs and symptoms of Ovarian Cancer and funds for research by hosting a morning or afternoon tea.

Throughout February we’re encouraging others to join us and talk to their friends, family and loved ones about Ovarian Cancer. Get your besties together, round up your mates from a local sports club or community group, or gather the women in your family for a cuppa and let’s get talking!

Known as the ‘Silent Killer’ Ovarian Cancer is often missed until at late stage when treatment is difficult, resulting in the high mortality rate from the disease. Knowing the signs and symptoms and seeking medical attention early just might save your life or the life of a family member.

The Letitia Linke Research Foundation Inc is a South Australian based not for profit charity aimed at increasing awareness of Ovarian Cancer – sometimes called the silent killer. We raise awareness of the signs and symptoms of this insidious disease, and funds to finance research to find an early detection test, and develop more directed and personalised treatment for women with Ovarian Cancer.

The Letitia Linke Research Foundation Inc. is registered with the Australian Taxation Office as an Income Tax Exempt Charity. Donations of $2 or more may be tax-deductible in Australia.
